After hearing “e-commerce is probably not for me” one too many times, we decided it was time to do something different. To lower the barrier to selling online – for everyone. While meeting business owners across many industries we started seeing a pattern: starting to sell online was too complicated, time-consuming and expensive. We needed to build something entirely new. The result is Kwikk, a service anyone can use to get paid online.
A living countryside
By making it simple for anyone to start selling online, via a website or social media, small and medium-sized businesses can find new customers across the country. We have no fixed monthly fees, so Kwikk only costs when the seller makes money. Businesses can also try selling online without investing or changing their entire operation.
We want small-scale and local producers to have the same opportunity to reach customers as the international giants, so that more consumers can choose local products. That is a sustainable development of commerce.
